The Website

The website will be hosted (that is to say placed on the webspace that has been 'rented' for one year), when completed.

Clearly to maximise the length of useful time the client (that is you), has the webspace for, means we will acquire the webspace near the completion of the website.

The hosting term can be extended for longer than the 12 months at the outset if you wish. Subsequent terms of hosting can be for much longer than 12 months, again at your request. Near the end of the hosting term, we will contact you, to let you know of the available plans for hosting at that time, for renewal purposes.

A point to note here is that for the website to remain visible on the internet, it is necessary for the the hosting fees to be paid on time or the site could be taken down. It is also possible that the site could be lost, though this is rarely the case.

Domain And Email

At the time of setting up the hosting the domain name required ( subject to being available ) is registered. This registration period is for 12 months and nearing the completion of the 12 months, we will contact you, regarding the best way forward with regard to the domain name registration.

Again a point to note is that domain registration is essential to keep up or you could initially lose access to your website on the internet, or in serious lapses the domain name could be lost and made available for re-registration by others.

Five email addresses are available as standard and some or all of these can be created upon request. They are initially setup as webmail addresses.

The address, username and password for each one setup, will be forwarded to the client by email with instructions on how to use them.

If the client requires the setup of an email client, such as Outlook or Thunderbird with the email addresses, the details will be forwarded to accomplish this as part of the deal.

Whilst up to 5 email addresses are available, if required further email addresses can be setup. Just let us know how many and the names required.

Loss of the email addresses and the emails is possible if both the hosting and domain name are allowed to lapse, so care to pay the associated registration and hosting fees when due is absolutely necessary to maintain your website presence and email access.
